I googled it and a couple other people had the same error with no explanation. Thanks in advance.

That’s the similar error I got, during the first part of copying files to the hard drive. I’ve used up 3 DVD’s, and nothing has worked. But then, I know what’s not making it work. The download was Missed up and I burnt the DVD at around 8x Speed. The Next Thing I did is redownload Windows Vista, and burning it @ the lowest speed around 2x. Thankfully, it works, error free installation, after working on it 1 whole day. If you are using a CD from Microsoft, then you should not have this problem, if so the CD might have problems.
